IPT (Intelligent Persian Typist) is a utility for typing Farsi text in applications that do not support Farsi Language.

Most graphical software do not support typing Arabic/Farsi text or they need Arabic/Farsi Windows to do it. Using IPT 5.0 the user can type Farsi even if the OS or the application does not support Farsi.

Macromedia Director, Macromedia Freehand, 3D Studio Max, AutoCAD and Corel Draw version 8.0 or earlier are some examples of design packages without the support for right to left languages like Arabic and Farsi. Photoshop ME version 4.0 or later and Corel Draw 9.0 or later are examples of packages with Farsi capabilities only when run under Farsi Windows.

Some features of IPT 5.0 are as follows:

Type Farsi text in IPT 5.0, and paste it into almost every application under almost every Windows using normal Copy/Paste features.

Grab the pasted Farsi text and paste it back to IPT 5.0 for editing. When you are finished copying, paste the edited text back to the application.

Using the Preview feature the actual size and look of the text in different fonts and style can be previewed. Font, size and effect can also be pasted with the text if the target application is capable to handle it. You are one step ahead in choosing the right font, size and effect.

A considerable number of fonts are added to IPT 5.0. You can choose your desired font from a set of 60 fonts. Considering the different effects of a font like Bold and Italic, the number of fonts exceeds one hundred. New fonts will also be available for download.

Using direct typing, you can type Farsi DIRECTLY into the applications in an intelligent way.
